About the Project

Client: For The Love NWA
Industry: Nonprofit / Community Service / Food Security
Website: forthelovenwa.com

Project Overview

Created a mission-driven website for For The Love NWA, a nonprofit food truck organization founded during the COVID-19 pandemic by three friends on a mission to feed the hungry, cultivate community, and fight poverty across Northwest Arkansas. The site effectively communicates their unique “pay what you can” model and weekly Neighbor Night free meal events.

Key Features Implemented

  • Mission-Centered Messaging: Clear, compelling presentation of their core mission: “Feed people, love people” with emphasis on community building and addressing food insecurity
  • Neighbor Night Information: Detailed schedule of weekly free community meals across multiple locations (Springdale – Mondays, Rogers – Tuesdays, Bentonville – Thursdays, Fayetteville)
  • Impact Statistics: Prominent display of the sobering statistic that one in four children in Arkansas are food insecure, contextualizing the urgent need for their work
  • Donation Transparency: Bold statement that 100% of donations go directly to feeding the vulnerable, building trust with potential donors
  • Community Invitation: Welcoming language emphasizing that everyone is always invited to Neighbor Nights—no barriers, no requirements
  • Volunteer & Expansion Opportunities: Clear calls to action for community members wanting to volunteer or bring For The Love to new communities
  • Pay-What-You-Can Model Explanation: Communication of their unique approach where meals have suggested prices but anyone can pay less, more, or nothing at all
  • Neighbor Token Program: Information about purchasing tokens to hand out to neighbors in need for meal redemption

Target Audience

Primary: Northwest Arkansas residents experiencing food insecurity, homelessness, or economic hardship
Secondary: Community members, volunteers, and donors who want to support food security and community building efforts
Tertiary: Local businesses and organizations interested in partnership opportunities

Project Outcome

The website successfully positions For The Love NWA as an accessible, judgment-free community resource that goes beyond traditional food assistance. By emphasizing the relational aspect (“We listen. We care. We love without an agenda”) alongside practical meal service, the site attracts both those in need and those wanting to serve. The transparent donation model (100% going directly to feeding people) and multiple weekly locations demonstrate organizational growth and sustainability. The inclusive messaging—that everyone is welcome, always—removes stigma and creates genuine community around shared meals.
